Apparently some people were just too busy to comment yesterday:

Those who did comment brought up some
very interesting pet peeves.
I read and reread them all, and here's my assessment:
THANK YOU.

I love peoples stories
and by that I mean
their life story.

That's one of the reasons I have been so intrigued
at St. John's church since last November,
new people = new stories!

I am totally fascinated by how people came to be who they are,
their parents, their siblings, their early years, their marriages,
their children, their divorces,
their triumphs and tragedies.
What brought them to where they are today.
Are you the same way?

Once I finally realized that
we are who we are
because
of all we've gone through
and
not in spite of it,
my overt curiosity seems endless
where each person's life story is concerned.

Equally amazing to me are the people I know extremely well
[ usually close family ]
and being privy to most of their lives
[ most, not all ]
I can actually see the growth in them.
Oft are the times that they themselves can't see their own growth,
so I try to gently show them.
Usually they are then amazed also.

The life stories, the life stories, the life stories,
they are endlessly intriguing to me.

So please forgive me if we get to spend some time together
and I sound a bit like Merv Griffin
[ you younger people will not know of whom I speak ]
but my curiosity knows no bounds when it comes to
each and every life story,
or to put it another way,
how you became you.
{Note:  Would this fascination of mine explain my overt interest in the lives of serial killers? }

FASCINATING.

Excluding today and the actual date itself,
we have
43 DAYS
until the
Belmont Central School Alumni Reunion.
YIKES!
Forty three days to go
from
THIS

to
THIS

This is as close to that miracle as I'll get
Notice it's on something edible!

Back to
PET  PEEVES
for just a moment.

THE
TOILET TISSUE ISSUE
For those of you who haven't been properly taught,
it's not a debate

The PROPER way is

in simplest term's
it's

I am taking for granted that most of you already realize this fact.
My brain cannot wrap around the idea that I would be
hanging
around with more
"unders" than "overs".

LYNNE FAECKE knows this fact.
[and she as well as Steven Harris were our BCS Class of '72 geniuses]
As does
ERIN MANNING GRAHAM.
From my reply to Erin this morning on Facebook:
"I confess this:  I CHANGE people's toilet tissue FOR them
if they are insipid enough to have it go under instead of over.
HOW are they to learn what's proper if we, the proper people,
don't SHOW them?"
[Please don't give me any "crap" about your kitty cat (or children) unraveling the  proper way of the "over" method.  Right is right people.  Don't be crude.]

It's my opinion and it's very true.
Get  OVER  it.

NOW

HERE'S YOUR
OF  THE DAY
[ Notice that's PLURAL ]

You could wake up one morning with
A  BILLION  DOLLARS
[ tax free ]
IF
you did this ONE thing:
Go to a nude beach
[ not a "clothing optional" beach ]
and be
"naked as a jay bird"
YOURSELF
on the beach.

WOULD YOU DO IT ?

and
the next question is
WHAT WOULD YOU DO
WITH SOME OF THAT MONEY?

My answer to question # 1:
Yes I would do it
as long as the beach was
far, Far, FAR
away from
ALLEGANY COUNTY, NY.
[ Like in Europe or some such place.]

My answer to question # 2:
I would give a good chunk to charity
[ at least 20% ]
and one of the other things I would do is put
Belmont Central School
[ our old alma mater ]
to good use.

Those are two things that immediately come to mind.

Now it's
YOUR TURN.

Would you do it
and
if so
what are a couple ways you would spend the money?
