GOOD MORNING FRIENDS!

T'was a bit enlightening to see how many of you
actually found the
KASIYH
blog post from Saturday night.
Not many for sure,
but
THANK YOU
to those devoted readers that did find it
[ Such as our dear friend David Brown ]
even though we chose not to "advertise" it on Facebook.
We
CAN
be
sneaky
that
way

GGC had forgotten how discombobulated our office area becomes at the end of the liturgical seasons of Advent and Christmas.  Good God in Heaven above ,,, you should SEE the tons of music we have to sort through [this will takes hours upon hours, we kid you not] and file away [another few hours]. Have not begun this lovely process yet, but need to do so post haste.  Talk about the "Wreck of the Hesperus" our office area looks like a hurricane blew through here. [ Bad analogy when our friends in Texas have been hit by real tornado's...please forgive.]  From about the 23rd of December through yesterday [and beyond as we have yet to collect all the Christmas music from St. John's Choir = we are still celebrating the liturgical season of Christmas] seems like one big, massive blur.  Simply not forgetting anything or anyone was the main objective, hence things are scatted helter-skelter all over the place.  If our dear departed Bette Davis walked in here [or any other part of the Palace right now] she would undoubtedly say:

Add to this annual liturgical music mess the fact that we are STILL in the middle [dare we even imply the word "middle" ??? ] of T.E.B.P. [ The Eternal Bathroom Project ] and it is simply not a pretty picture folks.  Of course [dear Christine Jefferd's friend ] CRAIG wants to either: [1] Chuck everything into garbage bags and throw it into the garage OR [2] Open one of the office windows and throw it all out, it lands wherever it lands.  Yeah, that CRAIG'S solution to this disaster area.  GREGORY on the other hand wants to go area by area, collect and sort through EVERYthing and find a proper place for each every single item. [Read = takes days to accomplish].  Whereas GREG is, once again, the happy medium twixt the two, toss what needs to be tossed, categorize the rest, allot a certain amount of time for the entire project and get it done.  And you wonder why we love GREG so much ?  We would LOVE to be as organized as GREGORY wants us to be, and it something we aim for, but in actuality LIFE takes over and we never seem to reach his perfectionist goals.

You remember that today is
"RANDOM THOUGHTS on a MONDAY"
right
?

NEXT TOPIC IS
POOP

[ Hey, it's random ]

We know our poop.

We have dealt with
Crohn's Disease
for decades upon decades.
[ Remember Crohn's runs in our family, having hit all three sons of our parents]
We have dealt with
Crohn's Disease
wAAAAAAAy
before it became popular
[ or was even known about in the general population ]
as one of the
I.B.S.
[ Irritable Bowel Syndrome ]
diseases.

So
we
KNOW
our
poop.

[ We are laughing so hard right now,,,, CRAIG is loving this topic! ]

All the crap
[ still laughing here]
about IBS and Crohn's Disease
aside,
a
GOOD B.M.
can be a nearly orgasmic experience
as far as GGC is concerned.

"THANK YA JESUS!"
is commonly heard from the
Throne Room
here at
The Palace
after
a
good
POOP

When we get a text or phone call
from close loved one's who are in distress
[ like our niece's Lisa Jeske, Jennifer Presor or Jessica Hand ]
one of the
FIRST
things we suggest
is for them to have a good
BOWEL MOVEMENT.
Ask them,
they'll tell ya.

WHY
are we discussing
POOP
this morning?

Because we had a
" THANK YA JESUS! "
movement ~ moment
today
and
we simply wanted to share our
poop position
with you,
our dear readers.

Please,
don't be a
turd,
enjoy the
lightness
of this topic.
NOT meant to be serious.
[ Although a good BM is seriously fun.]

SO
your
Is As Follows:

What
ONE WORD
would you use to describe
a
good
BOWEL MOVEMENT?
[ POOP ]

We can hardly wait to see how many of you
DARE
answer this question.

[Another terminology used here at the Palace:
" R.T.'s" = when you are all prepared for a good BM
and all you produce are
"Rabbit Turds".
VERY frustrating.]
Hey, it's just guys in the Palace here, even Paulie!

Saturday, December 26, 2015

It's Saturday night around 8:00pm and GGC is in bed reading.  MJ is watching something on Netflix.  The excitement never stops here at the Palace dear friend.

Rather imagine we will not Facebook advertise this KASIYH post, instead we'll just publish it and see what few folks find it.

Christmas was quite different this year.  As regular readers know, we celebrated Christmas on the 24th in order to be with JAXSON! for the day.  We were at GaGa's at 5:45AM in order not to miss a moment of JAXSON!  He was adorable to the max and totally grateful for each and every gift from Santa.

We had a great breakfast AND lunch at Connie's and even got REAL SHOWERS there also.  Thank You Jesus....and Connie.

Christmas eve warm-ups and mass with St. John's Choir went VERY well.  Loved the sermon by Rev. Carol..."You're a mean one.Mr. Grinch...or ARE you?"

Christmas morning saw us at the 11:00AM Service at St. John's, which also went very well.  It was before the Service that we heard of the passing of Hilda Whitney. Even though, as some have stated, Hilda was "of an age"where such things occur" ,,, it still came as a shock to many, especially Hilda's own family AND her Episcopalian family.  We will miss her beyond description.

Other than church attendance Christmas morn, we spent Christmas day alone with each other.  First time in like forty years.  Interesting.

Today was a quiet day also.  Met Joyce Armstrong at church for a while, followed by a brief stop at TOPS, then home to the Palace and Paulie.

Heard from some relatives during these past three days:  GGC's sister Barbara... dear Auntie Fran Guinnip, nieces Lisa Jeske, Jennifer Presor and Jessica Hand....as well as a text from sister Mary Jo.

Tomorrow is church at St. John's after which MJ and. GGC are hosting Coffee Hour ( the Episcopalian's 8th sacrament ).  Then HOME......

MJ is off work this coming week BUT there are some issues at work that could necessitate him having to work hither and yon...We'll see.

I am writing this on my Kindle.  It is nerve wracking.  I will finish this post with a paragraph where I will NOT correct any errors.  See if you can decipher it.

Hope 'll your  Christmas wSonderful and wish ok.g you out a supet great and bless e d new year.  Mag all your witches.co.e true.I 2016 peeps !!!  Th ok s oily now

NOTE: GGC's health seems to be better as we await the January 4th appt. in Rochester, NY.
There was some kind of "break" in the excessively high BP and Pulse, beginning last Friday 12/18 late afternoon/early evening.  For days and days previous to that time we could not get that bottom number on the BP anywhere's even close to below 100.  At one point it was 214/196 with a Pulse of 196 also.  MJ described it best when he said: " It's like right after you used to work out seven to ten miles speed-walking/jogging but it never calms down."  Amen to that MJ. GGC was constantly winded and very, very tired.  [Is it any wonder? ~~~  You'll have to excuse us folks as we can't recall how much we've shared with you on this topic, so if we're repeating, please forgive.]  The Rochester appt. is to determine the answer to the severe leg pain [in the calf's particuarly ]we've been experiencing for a  l-o-n-g  time.  Good chance it's all related. Since GGC's brother Richard [passed away on Easter Sunday 2011 ] had P.A..D. and as a consequence lost both his legs during his last years of life, the Dr.'s are being extra cautious.
So now y'all know most of .....

Had a good "final choir rehearsal before Christmas Eve mass", last night at St. John's Episcopal Church, even if some people were late = the Music Director and MJ !  But our wonderful Bill Nash had them all warmed up and rehearsing when we arrived.  Thanks BILL!
What a GREAT GROUP we are blessed to work with ,,, St. John's Episcopal Church Choir ,,, we may be small in number but we are mighty in praise of His name !

Do you find this particular time of year
almost annoyingly
EMOTIONAL?

Kindly listen to the above
whilst you read the rest.
THANK YOU.

GGC's
heart goes out to all those folks who feel so
alone,
forsaken,
depressed,
sans family or close friends.

There's a least a couple of regular reader's of this blog
that have lost their spouse to death
[ Thinking of  BCS Class of 72'er's  and D.I.P. especially ]
GGC loves you, please know that.

AND
those who are without
 parents, siblings, etc.
Can't even begin to imagine those who have lost
a Child
or
Grandchild.
Oh my.

We have a gal at
St. John's Episcopal Church
who prays aloud
each week for
"The terminally ill and their Families"
[ Retired  nurse Kathy Nash is the gal ]
What a kind thing for her to do.
She has seen and witnessed with her own eyes
many, many times
the agony of the dying
and
the pain of those who can only stand by and watch.

We have
SO MUCH
for which to be
THANKFUL
folks.

Do not wish to be a
" Donnie Downer"
here
but
we DO need to keep things in perspective dear friends.

Let's agree to keep those for whom this
Season of Joy
is something is less than joy-filled
EVER SO CLOSE
in our thoughts and prayers.

And
since many of us find this time of year
to fill our hearts with
Let us also agree to hold
ONE ANOTHER
extra close
this time of year,
and
perhaps,
just perhaps,
this
closeness
will
extend
WAY
beyond
The
CHRISTMAS
SEASON.

KNOW
that we ARE thinking of
EACH of YOU
and
LOVING YOU
beyond description.
