GOOD DAY FRIENDS!

We wonder how many people are catching the rare times
there is a
KASIYH
blog post as of late.
Such as last evening
when there was a post but we didn't write out
all the names on our list.
[ We only listed MJ ]

Most of you know why we are currently not posting as often.
It's going very well.
God is good all the time ~ all the time God is good.

TOMORROW
[ along with being Father's Day ]
is
ST. JOHN'S CHOIR'S
closing Mass of the 2015~2016 choral season.
PRELUDE
will commence at 10:30am.
[We'd thought we could get it all in in 20 minutes = but not enough time.]
It's been interesting
[ to say the least ]
going back over the music we've learned this season,
deciding which pieces to sing tomorrow
as a recap of this choral season.
Oh, the memories!

As much as a Director plans out a choral season,
said season still takes on a life of its own.
GGC has come to not just tolerate that
"life of its own"
but to recognize it as a part of the
Holy Spirit
moving amongst us.

Tomorrow
we conclude our second choral season
with
St. John's Episcopal Church Choir.
[AKA ~ The journey we never saw coming.]
What GGC has taught them
pales in comparison to what
they have taught us.

GGC is among all men,
most
richly

Here's a couple of off-hand

 for you to answer
IF
you so desire:

When you have just laundered / dried
a button down shirt / blouse,
and you place it on a hanger
[ unless you iron everything - God love ya ]
how many buttons to you then button?
[ Assuming you button any at all.]
One?
Two?
Three?
All of them?
AND
if you button less than all of them,
are they always the same buttons?
If so, which ones
and
why those exact buttons?

Here at
The Palace
our
"laundress"
generally buttons the top three buttons.
Why?
Must come from the mother or a mother figure.

JUST CURIOUS.

Have a
SUPER-GREAT
weekend
y'all

NOTE

We have TRIED to be so good as of late
when it comes to politics,
we really, REALLY have,
BUT
we're nigh onto bursting at this point in time.

SOOOOOOO
Like it or not
here's a few video clips
that might just express some of our feelings as of late.

THE  BOYS  of  SUMMER

GGC if only he were a bit younger

GOOD  DAY  FRIENDS!

Long time, no Blog post
[ at least here on KASIYH Blog ]

At least some of you know what GGC is up to this summer.
THANK YOU for your CONFIDENCE.

A while back
MJ and GGC
made a pact
NOT
to fill the summer of '16
up with any non-essential obligations.

WELLLLLLL,
that went to hell in a handbasket.

We had hoped that once
ST. JOHN'S CHOIR
was done with the current choral season
[ June 19th ]
that would be IT until September
when
SJC
starts up once again.

This would give us of time to:

Work on/plan/schedule the next SJC choral season,

*Complete the T.B.P.

*Take down some trees on our property

*Remove the rest of the old privacy fence
that runs the entire length of our property,

*Hoe out both bays of our garage
[which we haven't been able to use in five years ]

*Put up the new fence
[picket= we've had it for two years now!]

*Tear down the shed out back
[ which is about to cave in on itself ]

etc.
Etc.
ETC.

With the postponing of the play
" Making God Laugh"
until
August 19th and 20th
as well as
adding another production
"There's No Business Like Show Business"
[ Mostly music in nature ]
and
rehearsals numerous weeknight evenings

It's not that we don't want to be involved with these things,
but rather that time is so precious
HOW
does one fit it all in ?

It's a BLAST working with the cast of these endeavors,
we oft laugh so much our faces hurt by the end of rehearsals,
yet we've been sans a bathroom since last August 3rd,
we must do something soon and very soon.

MJ has been so patient,
yet even he is starting to lose his cool
with everything to be done around the palace.

We hate to let anyone down.
[ and we hate to use the word hate]

There must be a solution somewhere.

One thing that we both agree on is that
rehearsals MUST fall early in the week hereafter
[ Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday ]
because by the end of the week
[ Thursday and Friday ]
we both are
d--r--a--g--g--i--n--g.

YOUR THOUGHTS
WOULD BE
DEEPLY APPRECIATED
