!GOOD SEPTEMBER MORNING FOLKS!

We have entered the most wonderful time of the year
[ in the view of GGC ]

and one couldn't be more pleased about that fact.

GOOD RIDDINS AUGUST
[ and JULY and JUNE and MAY and APRIL too ]

Thank you all for your prayers concerning yesterday's
appointment / procedure with Dr. Naga.
Was it as bad as I anticipated?
Yes.
Not a "screamer" for sure
[like a dislocated shoulder]
but
t'was NOT pleasant nor easy to endure.
'nuff said.

THANKS
also for your comments on bloating.
I've been affected by it mildly in the past
but this time I truly felt like
Miss Piggy
more often then not.
Happy it has passed.

Wednesday night I didn't sleep well,
in fact I got 3.5 hours [cumulative] of sleep.

One of the things knocking around inside
the ping-pong match of thoughts in my head
was:
What's the most popular month
[locally]
to hold a wedding?

June is the "traditional" month of weddings,
but
"back in the day"
when we provided music for many a wedding,
it seemed like [around here] August was the most popular month
for such.

By "back in the day" I mean particularly the decade of the 90's.
Father Joe Penkaul
[how many remember him?]
was priest at St. Mary's here in Belmont
[ now called Holy Family parish ]
and we had weddings throughout the summer.
One might get a weekend "off"
[sans a wedding]
in June or July
but
RARELY
in
August.

So here's a question for you.

If you are married or have been married,
in what
MONTH
did your wedding take place?

It might help to note the
WHERE
[ state of the Union or country ]
you were married,
particularly if it was not New York State.
[Just think, some of you can vote more than once.]

Thank you to all who chose to answer.

Whilst floating around you tube recently
[ read = this a.m. ]
I found this "series" about a ladies
[ real life ]
redneck neighbor
TOO FUNNY
If ya have the time, watch a couple of these:

God Heavens
This gal needs some kind of help.

Such a nice looking neighborhood too.

! WoW !

Have a
super
SPETEMBER 1st
folks.

Hi Glad to meet you on your comment to my blog and on your blog. We were married in K.C., Mo on a hot Aug 26th evening in 1955 at our home church Benton Blvd. Baptist Church. As you can see from the date we are very fortunate to celebrate our 62nd wedding anniversary a week + ago. We are singers too, but not as much solo work as we use to now as we are in our 80's!
